Striebro bolo pou\u017e\u00edvan\u00e9 pre svoje v\u00fdborne antimikrobialne \u00fa\u010dinky, ako liek na r\u00f4zne druhy bakteri\u00e1lnych ochoren\u00ed. Na druhej strane sa nesk\u00f4r zistilo, \u017ee AgNPs maj\u00fa aj negat\u00edvny vplyv na \u017eiv\u00e9 organizmy. Svojim mal\u00fdm rozmerom (1-100 nanometrov) maj\u00fa v porovnan\u00ed so striebrom zv\u00fd\u0161en\u00fa reak\u010dn\u00fa plochu, \u010do im umo\u017e\u0148uje lep\u0161ie reagova\u0165 s prostred\u00edm, dok\u00e1\u017eu prenika\u0165 cez bunkov\u00fa membr\u00e1nu a t\u00fdm sp\u00f4sobova\u0165 zmeny v bunkov\u00fdch \u0161trukt\u00farach.<br \/>\nN\u00e1\u0161 projekt je zameran\u00fd na testovanie \u00fa\u010dinkov AgNPs a AgNO3(dusi\u010dnan strieborn\u00fd) na \u017eiv\u00e9 organizmy. Experimenty pozost\u00e1vali z merania rastovej krivky kvasiniek pomocou spektrofotometra, v z\u00e1vislosti od \u010dasu, v rozdielnych koncentr\u00e1ci\u00e1ch roztokov AgNO3 a AgNPs, kde sme tieto koncentr\u00e1cie prisp\u00f4sobovali pod\u013ea reakcie kvasiniek. AgNO3 sme vyu\u017eili z d\u00f4vodu, \u017ee po jeho rozpusten\u00ed vznikne kation striebra (Ag+), ktor\u00fd m\u00e1 ve\u013emi podobn\u00e9 vlastnosti ako AgNPs.
